Labor Day weekend kicks of the start of a new hockey season and NZ scouts will be spread throughout North America covering the major showcases and events. We have released the tournaments that our scouts will be in attendance for.
The National Ranking System has changed this year as each birth year will be ranked at three different times throughout the year. The first ranking for 1997, 1998 and 1999 birth years will be released at the end of October, the second ranking in January and the last ranking in May. The 2000, 2001 and 2002 birth years will first be released in November, then February and lastly in July. The 2003 birth year prospects will only be nationally ranked twice; first in January and then again in July.
We’ll also be in attendance for the Upper Midwest Elite League weekend games, but they do not count as a “tournament” and therefore are not listed below.
