A slow and uneventful first 5 minutes turned into a flurry of action and chances mainly for the Lakeville North Panthers. Kyle Doll #4 (F, R, 5’11”, 175, Lakeville North, 03/19/2005) opened up the scoring for Lakeville as he was able to creep to the slot from off the left wing wall, and fire a missile short side. Rochester fired right back with two goals in 45 seconds, first with a shot from the blue line wall by Matthew Haun #17 (D, R, 6’2″, 195, Rochester Century (MN), 07/03/2004) that seemed to have eyes getting through traffic. That was followed up with a hard 2 on 1 finish by Bennett Pronk #8 (F, R, 5’9″, 145, Rochester Century (MN), 03/21/2006) off a nice back door feed. Lakeville grabbed control of the game with three unanswered goals from Griffin Kranz #9 (F, L, Lakeville North, 01/01/2005), Spencer Braasch #14 (F, Lakeville North, 03/01/2003) and Jett Gibbons #19 (F, R, 5’9″, 175, Lakeville North, 05/10/2004). Lakeville North continued their dominance outshooting Rochester Century 19-3 in the second frame adding three goals to their total. All the possession was in favor of Lakeville as Rochester was unable to get any pressure or momentum going for them. Jameson Klein #25 (D, R, 5’10”, 145, Lakeville North, 05/13/2004) started the scoring for the Panthers as he found a pocket of space in the slot and received a pass right in his wheelhouse that he one-timed to the back of the net with authority. Griffin Kranz and Doll were once again the offensive sparks; each adding another goal and assist each to their total in the second period. Lakeville had a commanding 7-2 lead heading to the third period and were in total control of the game.

The third period was just the same as the previous two, as Lakeville kept their foot on the gas adding three goals to their total and holding Rochester Century shotless for 17 minutes. Jameson Klein found the back of the net for the second time tonight off a rebound at the goal mouth that he was able to track down and bury. Wesly Brunello #11 (D, R, 6’0″, 174, Lakeville North, 08/22/2003) joined the scoring parade with a shot from the point that found its way through traffic off the far post and in. Kranz| had a 5-point outing while linemate KyleDoll finished the night with 2 goals and 2 assists as these two led the way for the Panthers and created chance after chance.
