Shayne Campbell

Region: Canada

Region: Eastern Canada

Shayne Campbell has a storied career in hockey, having started his career as a player in the OHL for the Sarnia Sting and Ottawa 67s. In 2011 he was fortunate enough to be invited to the Philadelphia Flyers training camp, as well as spending his last seasons with the Truro Jr. A Bearcats, where he would later take on the head coaching position. During his time with the Bearcats, he was able to claim cup glory, winning the 2013 Fred Page Cup. His playing career was cut short due to multiple hip surgeries, ending his career while playing with the Laurier Goldenhawks.

Upon completing his playing career Campbell quickly took to coaching, serving as the Goalie Coach to the Cambridge Rivulettes of the PWHL, and Goalie Coach to the Cambridge Jr. B Redhawks of GOJHL, before returning to the Truro Jr. A Bearcats where he now serves as the Assistant Coach. Campbell’s knowledge of goalies has made him a highly reliable scout for the position, and sees him serve as Neutral Zone’s goalie scout for the Maritime Provinces of Eastern Canada
